Namibia, hosts of the ICC U/19 Africa World Cup qualifiers, continued their fine run of form, winning their fourth game on a trot.
Namibia defeated Tanzania by five wickets. After winning the toss, Tanzania elected to bat first managing 146 all out, despite encountering trouble early on at 51/5.
However, Namibia's left arm seamer, Zhivago Groenewald, weighed in with 3 for 20 in 9 overs. Teammate Gerhard Lotter again impressed with the bat, and scored 31, the highest score for the Namibians, as they past the Tanzanian total in the 41st over.
Kenya stumbled on day four, losing their first match of the qualifiers, to Uganda. They were sent in to bat, by Uganda, and only managed to get 155 in their allotted 50 overs.
Uganda started their pursuit of the target and were 113 for 3, but their batting stabilised, and they passed the target with five wickets in hand. At the United oval, the plucky Zambian team set a commendable 162/10, however their opponents, Botswana, set about their run chase, and were 72/2 before finally totalling166 for 7.
In the most exciting match of the day, Nigeria took on Sierra Leone in a very confident mood, following their first win on Wednesday. Winning the toss, Nigeria decided to bat and set a fine target of 199. Sierra Leone passed the total in the 44th over to win by 2 wickets. Following four days of non-stop cricket, the players will use today to rest and recuperate.
