Nairobi — Forty Barclays Bank business club members will fly out to China next week on a two-week business trip organised in conjunction with Brand Kenya.
The members will travel to China's Shanghai, Yiwu and Guangzhou and will have an opportunity to conduct business and tour historic sites and local businesses, including electronics, apparel and furniture markets and trade fairs.
"This trip offers Kenyan traders -- a mix of small-and medium-sized business owners representing a wide range of industries -- an opportunity to network and explore doing business in and with China and its business community," said Mr Isaac Gathenya, Barclays Kenya head of local business.
Barclays Business Club, formed in 2003, facilitates international business relationship building.
