Nairobi — President Kibaki will on Sunday travel to Rwanda for a two-day official visit to attend the inauguration of newly-elected Rwanda's President Paul Kagame.
Rwandans voted overwhelmingly to re-elect President Kagame during the August 9 poll, with 93 per cent endorsing him.
Mr Kagame will be starting his second and constitutionally final seven- year presidential term.
While there, President Kibaki is also expected to attend a Heads of State and government consultative forum on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
The President and his delegation is scheduled to depart Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) shortly after 11 am.
