An editor with the Standard Group has been nominated for inclusion in the 2006 edition of the prestigious Great Women of the 21st Century.
Ms Jane Godia, Senior Production Editor, Weekend Editions, was nominated for her work and noted for being dedicated to women of the world.
The award, issued by the American Biographical Institute, will compliment more than 150 separate titles published to date. It is strictly limited to 1, 000 outstanding entries picked from across the world.
The American Biographical Institute describes its 40th Edition as "dedicated to women of our world whose impact has been outstanding ".
A line in Godia's notification reads: "The very fact that you hold this invitation in your hands is an exceptional honour of respect".
"I feel honoured that my humble work has been recognised at such a high international level," Godia said on Thursday.
