ARMED Forces Amateur Boxing Association has set eyes on a boxer from the Coast combine squad.
The soldiers said it would recruit 64 kg welterweight, Njagi Mogera when the Association conducts its annual recruitment exercises in June. Mogera impressed the army boxing officials with his skills and powerful punches when he faced welterweight national champion, Samson Macharia during the inter-provincial championship in Mombasa at the weekend.
"He has a good game, he is definitely going to join us. He has the power, skills and determination. What he needs is just a little touch and exposure", says Afaba head coach, Augustine Mutuku.
