THE under-17 national football team coach George "Kingi" Njoroge has recalled three players ahead of the second leg, Africa Championships, qualifying tie against Rwanda.

The players, Tom Wango, Daniel Kanogo and Edward Seda, failed to make the final team to Rwanda due to injuries. "The players have recovered and we have decided to give them a chance to prove themselves before our next assignment against Rwanda on Saturday. I will name a final list of 18 from the 21 players on Friday," said Njoroge.

Kenya drew 2-2 in Kigali, Rwanda, a week ago and only need a barren draw on Saturday at the Nyayo National Stadium to progress to the next round.

"If we were capable of scoring two goals away, I believe we can net more at home. All departments in the team are efficient and playing as a unit, but our major problem is body structure. Our opponents are tall and muscular, however we have a game plan for them," said Njoroge.
