Five  Ugandans will be exposed to modern skills at the Safari junior tennis camp that runs from today to August 15 in Nairobi.

The group has Dennis Lutaaya, Simon Ayella, John Colline Abonga, Henry Ayesiga and Lawrence Ssempijja.

Kenyan tennis legend Margaret Odera picked the promising players in Kampala last month after carrying out drills.

Odera runs an academy in Nairobi where activities of the camp are held all year round.

"This is a great development for the region and gives our youngsters the opportunity to get exposure to top level skills and facilities," James Kasumba, an official of the domestic tennis body ULTA said.
