Things are looking up for former Santos captain Musa Otieno in the United States.
Hot on the heels of the towering defender scooping a couple of Man of the Match awards, he has scored his first goal in the United States Second Division.
The veteran player was on target and created another goal as Cleveland City Stars beat Bermuda Hogges 5-1 in a one-sided match played at a sold out Krenzler Stadium, home to Stars.
Otieno made a tremendous leap in the 84th minute to send a powerful shot into the left corner to give Cleveland a 4-1 lead.
Four minutes earlier, he created for Jason Hotchkin.
"I am living my dream," says the former Kenyan captain.
"I have been voted man of the match twice since making my debut, which shows how much the fans and the team value my services. Now, I have also scored my first goal. I really appreciate the support that my teammates and the team's fans have given me," he says.
Otieno made his debut against Crystal Palace Baltimore last month.
