A PNU activist is nursing wounds sustained when two political rival groups clashed in Kerugoya Town.
Josiah Njagi, 60, suffered head and leg injuries when supporters of the Kirinyaga Central MP John Ngata and those his predecessor Daniel Karaba fought on Tuesday.
Mr Njagi, who had joined a demonstration against Mr Ngata, was taken to the nearby district hospital where he was treated and discharged.
But on Wednesday he complained of severe pain, saying he could not go about his daily business following the attack.
