Belgium-born Kenyan rally ace Peter Horsey is certain of victory in this Sunday's 'Kings of Speed Master Sprint' due at Botanical Gardens, Entebbe. Horsey has earned a reputation as a hard-stepper and returns after an expedition in the Pirelli-WRC Star competition where he finished second behind South Africa's Jon Williams.
"All the drivers will be trying to beat me, which is a bit obvious but that cannot scare me. I always try to do my best and hopefully it will all come together," said the 25-year-old who has won most local sprints this year.
He will have to fend off 26 other drivers including rising star Jas Mangat, reigning champion Dr Ashraf Ahmed, two-time national champion Ponsiano Lwakataka, Ronald Ssebuguzi and Susan Muwonge. Teenage sensation Shafique Ssemujju will meanwhile parade his new Subaru Impreza N10.
