FORMER APR coach Jacob "Ghost" Mulee has ruled out any interest of taking up the head coach post of Kenya national team, Harambee Stars.

Mulee told Times Sport yesterday on phone from Nairobi that he is busy with other personal business thus can't find time to resume coaching the Kenyan national team which has been hit with recent resignation of caretaker Francis Kimanzi, a month before the start of this year's Cecafa Challenge Cup due in Kampala, Uganda.

"I am now committed to the liberty sports academy (based in Nairobi), and am not interested in taking up the head coach role of the Kenyan national team again," said the man, who was a major flop among past APR coaches.

Kimanzi, who is currently in Zambia on a coaching course, has been at loggerheads with the country's governing body Football Kenya Limited (FKL) over his contract.

The Kenyan league club, Mathare coach was unhappy about the commitment of the football authorities to prepare the national team for the annual tournament in Uganda.

However it is unclear whether Kimanzi is willing to lead Kenya in the final round of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup, which begins in March next year.

The Harambee Stars have been without a full time coach for seven months after the sacking of Mulee.

Mulee was sacked after failure to post good results in the second round of the 2010 World/Africa Cup qualifiers mid this year but his successor enabled the Harambee Stars to book a place in the final round.

Kenya will play Nigeria, Tunisia and Mozambique in the qualifiers, with the top team in each group qualifying for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The top three sides in the group will get places at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
